Finally we have reached the exciting part of the web site set up, the photo shoot with our gorgeous model, Tenille Smyth.

Thanks to the wonderful staff at Mordy Surf and the Beautiful Paula from Tierra Alma who provided the clothes for our spring/summer 15 campaign shoot. The labels we had to choose from were amazing, and of course everything looked great on Tenille. Please see below for clothing credits.

Our photographer, Sona had the hardest job of anyone on the day, as it was a typical Melbourne day filled with sunshine, clouds, wind + rain, but this all added to the great results that he achieved.

Of course this is our first of many shoots and we hope they are all as much fun and turn out as beautifully as this one!

WYSE was born in 2013, after Nellie met a jewellery maker while travelling, who she wanted to support.

Each season release has seen a major evolution in the WYSE range. Designs and materials have undergone radical reinvention, but the common theme of supporting the community and ensuring that everyone along the chain of supply is well looked after will always be a strong thread through every season’s range.

Nellie is as eclectic as the jewellery she designs. Her career has never been stagnant with life taking her in many directions and dishing up a plethora of knowledge and experiences that she now draws on to keep WYSE designs fresh and unique. Nellie started with a job in the surf industry (with which she still holds strong bonds), which saw her through a uni degree and into her children’s early years. She then embarked on a career in interior decorating and colour consulting, which lasted for decades; and saw her finish houses and offices featured in home magazines and shows. It is her abundance of design and colour skills that she draws on when designing for WYSE.

Amy also has a long association working in the surf industry. She grew up surrounded by the free, boho, casualness of Melbourne’s surf scene and this comes through in her designing and material blends that are such a signature of WYSE. Amy reinforced her natural design skills with a fashion design degree, which has proved invaluable to the creativity of the WYSE product range.

Together Nellie and Amy are doing what they love.
